I’m getting a workout installing the paintings at the Zen Center
Denise Dmochowski and I installed the latest edition of our work of Synergy in the Art Lounge at the Zen Center of San Francisco. The exhibition of our paintings will be on view until September 30.
Denise and I blend our paintings together by color and light.
Synergy. The interaction of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements, contributions, synergism. By presenting our paintings side by side we strive to create a beautiful atmosphere of peace and joy.
In the Art Lounge at the Zen Center. Through the doorway you can see Presidio Sunrise.
Our paintings shown together compliment each other beautifully. The colorful, light filled images draw you in offering a place of serenity and allowing for a connection to a deeper level of consciousness. In our individual interpretations of nature there is an energy that connects our work.
A selection of paintings to bring peace and calm to the visitors of the art lounge.
Do you have an idea of where we can show our work together again? We are always looking for new places to show. Please let us know, we would love to hear from you.

Denise and I were delighted to see our artwork hanging together in a beautiful flow at Real Old Paper Gallery in North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. Synergy was a one night only pop up. It was our first experiment with creating this kind of an exhibition. We had a great time meeting new people and talking about our work. All of my paintings from the show are available for purchase here.

Atmospheric Landscapes at Sundance Cinemas Art Gallery in San Francisco
“Atmospheric Landscapes” runs from May 20 through August 2016. The colorful, light filled paintings are layers of oil on canvas that radiate a soft atmospheric quality that capture the fleeting moments of light throughout the day.
My work was chosen from a group of local artists who submitted their work for consideration to Sundance via an exclusive partnership with StudioVox.
Sundance Cinemas VP of Marketing and Gallery Curator, Nancy Gribler considers Veedell’s work jewels of serenity. “Victoria’s paintings, have a beautiful calming effect that washes over you,” she says. “Gazing at her light filled paintings, you’re transported into a completely different frame of mind. They radiate with golden light that makes you feel at peace. We are thrilled to have her at the Sundance Kabuki.”
StudioVox President, Amanda Slingerland agrees, “Veedell’s paintings draw you in with a quiet intensity. A misty layered abstraction of time and place as if looking into the future or revisiting the past. Her work creates a fantastic exhibition at Sundance, Kabuki Gallery.”

Landscapes: Seen And Remembered
April 29 – June 9, 2016
Four Barrel Coffee: 375 Valencia St. SF
Landscapes: Seen and Remembered
Four Barrel Coffee is pleased to present ‘Landscapes: Seen And Remembered’ by San Francisco painter Victoria Veedell. Victoria captures the fleeting moments of light in nature with her atmospheric landscape paintings. The root of her work is an emotional reaction to the environment, based on landscapes not simply just seen but felt. She gathers inspiration during her global travels, which are an important component of her work, allowing her to observe and compare gradients of color, light and atmosphere in different geographic areas. Veedell’s next journey will take her to Iceland for an artist residency during the month of October.
Dawn Light, oil on canvas, 48″ x 60″
Four Barrel is a cafe and roastery that has been supporting artists with exhibitions since 2008. This exhibition is free and open to the public. Four Barrel Coffee is located at 375 Valencia Street in San Francisco, and is open daily from 7am until 8pm. Four Barrel may be reached at email@example.com.
