A selection of paintings available in my studio. I enjoy the challenge of a square format for landscape paintings. My paintings are interpretations of the effects of light in nature. Several of the paintings were inspired by locations around the Bay Area. “Overlooking the Bay” was inspired by the view looking out to the East from the top of Bernal Heights Hill. “Fog Along the Estuary” is part of an ongoing series of fog inspired paintings. I am fascinated by the coastal fog of Northern California. I’m inspired by the moody and misty muting qualities of the fog yet trying to keep the colors in the painting vibrant.
